Memory Cafe...where friends meet friends
What is a Memory Café? . . a gathering for people with early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment AND their care partners, family or friends. It is a safe, supportive environment where people can learn, laugh, and remain socially engaged with others traveling the same journey.
What activities are planned at the Memory Café?... sing-a-longs, conversation, games, building projects, and much, much, more . . .
Who is in charge?. . . The Memory Café is hosted by trained volunteers with varied backgrounds and personalities.
What is the cost?. . . Attendance is free and refreshments are provided.
Do I have to sign up?. . . Drop-ins are welcome. Calling ahead will help us plan!
