Join us at the Olson Memorial Library for the next installment of the 2018 Eagle River Historical Society History Series!
On October 25th, at 10 a.m., Craig Moore, the Society Historian, will offer a photo presentation. His topic this month is the Greenwood Ranch Resort; the story of a family resort run by three generations of Powell's until the death of Jane Powell in 2015. Greenwood Ranch Resort was located on land previously homesteaded by P. J. Gaffney in 1900. It was purchased by Dr. John R. Powell in 1913 for a rest home and became a resort soon after.
The Eagle River Historical Society and the Olson Memorial Library are pleased to continue a joint collaboration of their popular local history series this fall.
The program is free.
