Are you interested in learning more about meditation and your body’s energy system? Come join us for a free community talk and meditation sound bath with local wellness practitioner, Meg Joyce.
Sound baths are a form of sound therapy where a practitioner plays a variety of singing bowls and special instruments designed to balance out the energy field and promote inner harmony. A guided meditation will lead you on an inner journey as you are immersed in healing sounds and drift off into deep relaxation. Consider it an energetic “tune” up.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, or anything that you’d need to feel supported and comfortable to lay down for 45 minutes. Some chairs and limited yoga mats are available.
About Your Instructor:
Meg Joyce is a Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Vibrational Sound Practitioner. Meg enjoys teaching and leading dynamic group sound bath meditations that educate, inspire, and empower personal growth and healing. She is passionate about promoting energetic wellness and peace in the community and works to destigmatize the shame around mental health through education and teaching self-compassion.
In addition to energy work, Meg enjoys yoga, hiking, painting, exploring, and living life to the fullest with her daughter and dog.
