“My introduction to art began when I was studying for my bachelor’s degree at U. W. Superior. I took a number of art classes that would form a foundation for my later art journey.
After my children began school, I recalled how much I
enjoyed the art classes I had taken at Superior. I enrolled in art
classes at Nicolet College in Rhinelander, WI, and began my
art journey.
A person can take art classes and workshops to gain ideas and experience. It is in the process of creating and working at your art that will produce results. An artist never learns all there is to know because art is an ongoing process of learning and discovery. That’s what makes it so interesting.
Over the years I have been very active in our local community arts organizations. I was a founding member of Artarama, and also Headwaters Council for the Performing Arts. I was member of
several Northwoods galleries and a member of a number of art
leagues.
This journey has been a wonderful experience and has enriched my life.”
